Contracts and Dashboards

Well it's been a while since my last update and things have been moving well.  Firstly,  I have four Primary Schools using my Dashboards at the moment, all in the early phase where they are using a single Dashboard for one Year Group while they get to grips with it and we can refine it over time.  It shouldn't be long before we can roll out all the Dashboards for the rest of the Year Groups.

Secondly,  I've picked up a contract with CTIL, a company that is working with Vodaphone & O2 to update a large number of transmitter sites across the UK.  The Aquisition Specialists were spending a large percentage of their time slicing and dicing data sets to get information they needed to complete their work.  They've brought me in to take this pain from them so that I can set up the reporting while they focus on what they need to do.  It's interesting work, but based in Manchester, so the travel isn't so good(!)

Primary School Dashboard update

Things seem to be picking up now.  I currently have Evenlode and Victoria in Penarth.  I've also given presentations to Dinas Powys Infants, Murch Primary and Barry Island Primary and all seem keen.  I've got a presentation to the Rural Vale of Glamorgan cluster group next week and possibly one with the Barry cluster group in March.

Now I need to get back to the phone to try some other schools :)

PMi Ltd is 4 years old(!)

Well I've made it through another year!  Fairly busy at the moment with both established clients looking for new additions as well as pushing for new clients with my Primary School Dashboard. Onwards and upwards :D

I've just uploaded a video showing the Primary School Dashboard Year View in more detail.  The video explains in more detail what you can monitor using theYear View and how the RAG status works for both school and pupil targets.

Primary School Dashboard update

Well it's been a few months since my last post and things have been progressing well.  I've completed the Dashboard for Evenlode and am in the process of setting one up for another local school, Victoria Primary.  I've created a demo video of the latest format showing a brief overview and will be recording more in-depth ones for each part of the dashboard soon.

Evenlode Dashboard Part 2

The Evenlode Primary School dashboard is progressing well and have had an interesting development.  I had a meeting with someone in the Vale of Glamorgan LEA yesterday who's interested in the dashboard being used by the schools in the Vale if it can capture additional Special Education Needs data.  I now need to add this into the dashboard and get a working model so that I can sit down with the head of SEN and see if it's of use.  Sounds promising...

Latest update

Hello all,

well it's been a while since my last update due to having a fantastic summer with my family.  Back to work now though!

I'm now in the second week of my new office.  Trying to work from home over the summer with my two boys running around was just too difficult!  I'm now located in The Coach House in Cogan, a five minute walk from my house.  I'm also in the process of setting up a new business phone number, 029 2000 8866

 

I'm currently working on two major projects.  The first is a dashboard for Evenlode Primary school that monitors and measures pupils performance throughout their school life.  I've almost finished this, just need to finalise some details in a meeting with them this afternoon.  This one has lots of potential, so any Head Teachers out there who wants to get in control of their data then get in touch.

The second piece I'm workin gon is a database and front end dashboard for Castledene Group to monitor potential clients.  Watch this space and I'll upload some screenshots and videos :)
